Found never used, still in its original protective outer storage box. Some minor wear and light age tone staining and color bleed from storage, but otherwise excellent.

Title: Illustration Art
Description: Very early oil painting on canvas featuring adorable young child in red hood. Extremely high quality and well done, w/ incredible detailing, color and look. When found, painting had some slight traces of paper remnants of product package advertising in between her hands (though not enough to make out what product was). Painting has been professionally cleaned and re-lined and is presented in a contemporary frame. Has the look very similar to that of the children’s illustrator Ellen Clapsaddle (who illustrated Halloween postcards, etc.).

Title: Kingsbury Sunbeam Racer Sign
Description: Early cardboard advertising sign promoting the Kingsbury Toy Co.’s Sunbeam toy race car. Sign features great image of Henry Segrave, who established the land speed record of 203 miles per hour in 1927 in the Sunbeam Racer. Sign has some minor age toning and a little edge roughness, but overall is clean and very attractive (C. 8/+). Scarce and impressive piece!

Title: Lakeside Club Whiskey Sign
Description: Scarce, very high quality early metal litho advertising sign for Lakeside Club Rye Whiskey, featuring wonderful graphic image of early Victorian Lakeside Club and related scenes (Tuchfarber Co., Lithographers). Strong colors and very good overall look, w/ some light scattered oxidized pitting and speckling spots, w/ some light scattered surface scuffing and wear (sign had coating of clear coat protective finish applied to surface long ago). Important and impressive piece, displays quite well (C. 7.5/+).
