Title: "With Trumpet and Drum”

Description: Ca 1905 large Scribner’s art print on high quality textured paper featuring children in parade playing musical instruments and carrying large American flags, by illustrator Maxfield Parrish. Displays extremely well, w/ strong colors and excellent look (near mint appearance). Matted and nicely presented in an attractive period frame. Note: close examination will reveal a couple small professionally repaired tears in grey background areas (non offensive and barely visible).

Description: “National Authority on Amateur Sport”. Scarce, very attractive advertising poster for Harper’s Weekly magazine featuring great image of early golfers putting. Nice colors, has excellent overall look, w/ a little non serious edge chipping and a few scattered tear marks in outer margins w/ some non offensive water staining at bottom left edge of caption area.

Size: Poster measures 18.25" x 14” (image area 14-7/8 x 13.25”). Nicely framed and matted (frame size 26.5 x 21.5”).

Title: Small 1918 “Dawn” Calendar (“And Night is Fled”)

Description: Attractive Edison Mazda cardboard advertising calendar by Maxfield Parrish featuring colorful “Dawn” image of woman on boulder under tree w/ sunlit canyon background and great Edison Mazda logo at top. This scarce example is the first issue in the series of calendars Parrish designed for General Electric. Has a little non offensive minor age toning and slight foxing in cream background area, but overall a clean and very attractive example w/ extremely bright and vibrant colors. Framed and matted (contemporary frame). About as nice an example as you could hope to find. No pad.

Clean, bright and like new in appearance, w/ uncirculated like color and complete calendar pad. Displays as near mint) although close examination will reveal some non detracting typical light snake lines in paper and some light scuff wear at bottom (under pad section). Beautifully framed and matted (contemporary frame).
